Visiting the Japanese Paper Place

Recently I had the opportunity to visit the Japanese Paper Place to consult with Sigrid Blohm (an artist and Japanese paper specialist) about experimenting with some new papers.  I made an appointment and spent quite a bit of time going over the many pages of sample books looking, touching and asking lots of questions about some of the other options out there for me to incorporate into my work.  I am excited about the papers I chose and made a long list of papers that I would like to try next time I come down to visit.
Here are a few photos of the upstairs showroom and gallery space. Lots of inspiration and beautiful papers here.
