Timeless Materials browsing

Chris and I found ourselves in Waterloo the other day on errands and driving our young person around. We had a few hours to spare in between things, so we popped over to Timeless Materials to browse around. They sell Farrow & Ball paints and wallpapers there and we were thinking of trying a small pot of dark grey to cover a red wall... more on that later. Purchased sample pots of paint and spent much time wandering around looking at all the wonderful old bits and pieces of buildings that you can find there. If you are ever trying to find a nice old door for a funny size opening or a bit of old trim that they don't make anymore, it could be here. They also have a coffee shop/ bakery now, which was a pleasant surprise.

Chris measuring shutters. None in our size this time...

would love to see this copper bath tub all polished up

they have wood all over the place. the basement is full of reclaimed wood planks from flooring.
even burnt lumber from the recent fire at St. Jacob's Market

I remember my parents going out to this restaurant. Think it was maybe a steak house and I always loved this sign. The restaurant looked like it was from a rat pack movie, from the outside anyhow.
