New Gallery in Guelph

Renann Isaacs has opened a new gallery in downtown Guelph.  The space is perfect, the artwork is wonderful and her openings are always packed.  We feel so lucky to have such a great space close by.  If you haven't checked it out yet, be sure to drop in and say "hello" to Renann and take in all the lovely things she has assembled this month for her 'Seeing Red' show.
Renann Isaacs Contemporary Art is on Quebec St.

New Project

My work has kept me away from the computer for quite a bit and I
am feeling badly about having started a blog and not kept it up to date.
I have decided to try to enter something, once a week, that I am working on or something exciting I have seen or done.  My website is still under construction and so this is the best way for me to post news and share info. until it is ready.
I am posting some images of a poster I have been working on... maybe
you can guess for who.  This is just the press bed with one of the colour separations for printing.  I will post the finished work soon.

Finished!

This recent work 'dark crabapple' has been a work in progress for
some time now.  Here are a couple of photos of the process of
putting the pieces together at the University of Guelph in their
print shop.  Thank you Pam Lobb, Allen Ash and of course
U of Guelph for letting me use the lovely big press!
I just realized that the in-progress shots are a bit older than I
thought and are actually from last Spring when I put together
'winter grape'.  Same process though.
